Justin was paid $400,000 for first album

Universal, Justin's record label, just asked the Manhattan (New York) Supreme Court to approve their contract with JB which was signed in December 2009.

The contract states that Justin got $400,000 US dollars cash up front for his debut album "My World". (But that's not all he makes from the album. He also gets a portion of the sales of his CD plus royalties. Royalties are what you get paid
