Justin Bieber’s bodyguard Kenny Hamilton reportedly undergoing surgery #prayforkenny

Justin Bieber fans have found something new to obsess about on Twitter: the singer’s bodyguard Kenny Hamilton is reportedly having surgery for an unspecified problem. Despite the almost complete lack of information, #prayforkenny is the top trending topic on Twitter right now.
Hamilton has something of a legendary reputation among Bieber fans for his role as protector of the singer against screaming fans and maniacs. So it’s unsurprising that Bieber’s fans are wishing Hamilton well on Twitter despite not knowing what he’s having surgery for, or even (whisper it) whether the surgery story is true at all!

Robot Creator Annoyed with Justin Bieber Appearance On CES

It’s no secret that Justin Bieber causes mass chaos wherever he goes, but in some cases, him and his mob are not a welcome sight. Understandably, one robot creator was especially annoyed by the Justin's recent appearance at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show, as it meant his first ever innovations went overlooked.
“We’re pretty much shut down,” David Shafter said of the onslaught; a result of the ‘Baby’ singer’s presence. “We can’t run our demos.” When Justin made his way into the convention on Wednesday afternoon, grown adults were swarming the booth next to Shafter’s, hoping to snag a photo or just see him up close, which made Shafter’s set-up virtually invisible.
Clearly, Shafter is not a Belieber. The Xybotyx founder was at the electronics event to launch a $100 and some change robotic gadget that is controlled by a user’s iPhone or iPod Touch. Shafter’s company is a start-up, and this is their first product.

The creator’s business partner Dan McShan wasn’t exactly hopping over booths to grab a glimpse of the JB, either. “It’s the best of times, it’s the worst of times,” he said, joking, “We’re trying to get him to defect. It’s definitely costing us valuable hours of time with our target audience.”
JB too had business at the Consumer Electronics Show — he was there to help TOSY launch a portable speaker which morphs into a dancing robot. Still, other vendors were not amused, and Shafter said that he plans to speak with CES about being compensated for time lost, thanks to Justin.

Justin Bieber's Next Album Is 'Ridiculous'

Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, has heard just what the biebs is up to and wants everyone to know that Believe is a game changer.
“Wow!! In the studio with @justinbieber and #Believe is going to be ridiculous!!!” Scooter tweeted about Justin’s 2012 release. Scooter’s message came the same day that Justin announced that he’s officially working on the project.
“Start recording full time for #BELIEVE today. let the fun begin! #newMusic,” he tweeted on Tuesday, hours later adding, “#studio.”
But it seems that he’ll take a break to hit up the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which is currently underway in Las Vegas. “heading to vegas in the morning for CES. Gonna see what is coming next. #gadgetNERD,” he tweeted.

Justin Bieber Fights with Boyhood BFF Chaz Somers — Was It over Selena Gomez?

Justin Bieber's young life is certainly filled with high drama these days. Last year there was the Mariah Yeater scandal. In 2012, JB has fought with his boyhood BFF, Chaz Somers, and cancelled their friendship. They reportedly fought over Selena Gomez.

Rumor has it that Justin Bieber's current feud with his boyhood friend, Chaz Somers, began when Chaz, rather stupidly, told Justin that his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, was dating him only to garner more publicity for herself and to further her own career. Of course, many people share this opinion—including, no doubt, some of Justin's close friends and even relatives. However, unlike Chaz Somers, those people had enough sense not to say it to Biebs' face. He did not take it well. The two fought bitterly, and now they are no longer friends. The drama would have remained a private matter had JB not sent Chaz a Tweet on January 5 to inform him that "he doesn't consider Chaz his real friend." Now their feud is public property.
Justin Tweeted:

"#realfriends @itsRyanButler and @officialjaden"
Chaz Responded:

"@justinbieber i thought what we had was real?"
But then he quickly deleted it.

So there you have it. And with it you still have unanswered questions. What on earth made Chaz Somers say such a thing about Selena Gomez? Surely he should have known his friend, er, ex-friend would find it offensive. Or was it ever really about Selena Gomez at all? It has been suggested on JB fan sites that perhaps Chaz was angry because Justin Bieber bought his other (true) boyhood BFF a new car for Christmas but only gave Chaz a lousy iPhone. Ouch. When in need of a scapegoat, blame it on the girlfriend.
Pehaps the most intriguing question of all is: What, if anything, does the Justin Bieber-Chaz Somers feud have to do with Justin and Selena's sudden, unannounced, surreptitious trip to Mexico, where they were photographed on January 6—the day after JB's fight and break with Chaz?

Glassboro student who asked Justin Bieber to prom gets Ryan Seacrest shout-out

Leon Purvis can’t believe how much buzz his prom invitation to Justin Bieber has generated in the media, especially when — last week — the story got a shout-out from media mogul Ryan Seacrest on his website and show.
“It’s crazy,” said Leon, a 16-year-old Glassboro High School junior who decided to ask his favorite singer, Bieber, to accompany him to his junior prom as a “bro” via YouTube. “It’s been on NBC, Perez Hilton and now Ryan Seacrest. I think it’s definitely hyping people up for Trending Day.”
In order for Leon’s YouTube video to garner more than the 115,850 views it already has — and potentially draw attention from Bieber and his management team — he and his classmates decided it would have to become a trending topic on Twitter. After he presented the idea to his teachers and peers, a committee was formed to promote the topic. If enough people tweet or re-tweet #GuyAsksJustinBieberToPromOnYouTube on the Trending Day — Dec. 27 beginning at 12:10 a.m. — the tweet could become a trending topic and garner more media attention.
“The word’s out there,” said Leon. “If kids can see how much has happened already, they can see what Trending Day could do.”
Leon said he’s confident, but still a little nervous, that his story could make it as one of the top 10 worldwide trending topics that day. He and the committee have been spreading the word to as many people as possible, and he said he’s received a lot of support.
“Most of the response has been positive,” said Leon. “A whole bunch of people have signed the banner, and we have it hanging up now. The online hits have been crazy too, going from 73,000 to 115,000 in a really short time.”
Leon said Seacrest’s recognition could be very important.
“Ryan Seacrest is hosting New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and Justin Bieber is performing, so it’s crazy to think of that,” he said. “Whatever happens, it’s just like Justin Bieber says, follow your dreams and never say never.”
Leon said he and his classmates will continue to spread information of how to tweet and re-tweet the topic on Dec. 27. They already visited the intermediate school to encourage the eighth graders to participate.
“They were excited,” he said. “And a lot of them already knew who I was!”
GHS French teacher Anne-Sophie Kruse, who has been advising Leon’s committee, said she was very surprised, and equally excited as Leon, when the story reached Seacrest.
“To hear him say the name of a student of mine was pretty amazing, pretty surreal,” said Kruse. “That’s what many of the students in school are saying too. To hear him talk about Leon and what he’s trying to do in such a positive way is really outstanding. He’s really respected in the industry, and we’re all surprised it’s gone so far so fast. To see such results before Trending Day means the kids have done a really great job supporting this cause.”

Charlie Sheen tweets mobile number while trying to direct message Justin Bieber on Twitter

CHARLIE Sheen's cell phone went into a meltdown after he accidentally tweeted his personal phone number while trying to direct-message Justin Bieber to call him.
The actor had yet another trademark "#winning" moment when he mistakenly tweeted his private digits to his five million Twitter followers over dinner at Michelin-starred restaurant Guy Savoy in Vegas last week.
The former "Two and a Half Men" star -- hoping to send a private message to Justin Bieber to get him to call -- sent out the message,

"310-xxx-xxxx Call me bro. C,"
and followers quickly retweeted the message.A source at the restaurant told us, "Charlie's phone immediately went into meltdown. It was ringing wildly, and he got 1,800 text messages in minutes. Charlie saw the funny side and answered the phone a few times, saying things like 'Ray's Pizza' and 'Winning'."
"But his phone just continued ringing and buzzing and eventually just completely melted down," our spy said. "Charlie was, like, 'I guess I need a new phone'."
Sheen jetted into Vegas for dinner with friends at the Caesars Palace restaurant Wednesday night. The group of eight dined on appetizers of caviar and artichoke and black-truffle soup. Sheen and pals then shared four fish and four meat entrees. But it was a pretty sober night, with his group guzzling only three bottles of wine among them and Sheen not appearing to touch a drop.
Another source said, "Charlie was the most polite in the group. At one point, he started getting out a cigarette. One of his friends told him, 'You are Charlie Sheen; you can do whatever you want,' but the restaurant manager told him that was not the case, and Charlie put his cigarette away."
Not surprising, Sheen's rep said, "I haven't been able to get through to him on the phone since Wednesday. He just got a new number."

Glassboro High School student invites Justin Bieber to prom

Back in June, Leon — a 16-year-old Glassboro High School junior —decided to ask his favorite singer, Justin Bieber, to accompany him to his junior prom as a “bro.” In his YouTube video, Leon says he’s one of Bieber’s biggest fans and thinks the young singer deserves the chance to attend a normal prom.
Leon Said

“The idea came to me when I was at pre-prom last year to see my sister off, and I was talking to a kid that was going,”
“At the time I was thinking about what girl I wanted to ask, and he said, ‘Who are you going to ask? Justin Bieber?’ I thought it was a good idea because I admire him and all he’s accomplished for being so young. I’ve been a fan ever since his YouTube days.”
In order for the video to garner more than the 73,000 views it already has — and potentially draw attention from Bieber and his management team — Leon and his classmates decided it would have to become a trending topic on Twitter. After he presented the idea to his teachers and peers, a committee was formed to promote the topic.
Basically, if enough people tweet or re-tweet #GuyAsksJustinBieberToPromOnYouTube on the Trending Day — Dec. 27 beginning at 12:10 a.m. — the tweet could become a trending topic and garner more media attention.
“My idea to get a response is to make it one of the 10 worldwide trending topics,” said Leon. “If it becomes a trending topic, everyone — even celebrities — will be able to see it.”
To accomplish this goal, Leon and a committee of his peers are wearing shirts, posting flyers and signing banners to promote Trending Day.
He Said:
“Everyone knows who Justin Bieber is, and this is definitely a different situation because he doesn’t have as many guy fans as girls,”. “I believe he deserves to be around normal kids, And, a lot of people say nothing ever happens here at Glassboro, so this would bring some excitement and something to look forward to. I’ve worked really hard, the committee is working really hard and I think we’ll be successful.”
Ian Aubry, 16, designed the banners, flyers and “Never Say Never” T-shirts for the committee.
“Leon’s my friend, and I thought it was a good idea too,” said Ian. “I think people are supporting him about this even if they’re not huge Justin Bieber fans themselves. For the shirts, they had to be a simple text design and a low price, so I just created them in Photoshop and then sent them to the screen-printing place.”
Ian said he’s pretty confident the message will at least get to Bieber because Leon already has so many Twitter followers and YouTube viewers.
Another committee member — Danae Pinkney, 16 — shares that confidence.
“We’ve had a lot of different ideas,” said Danae. “Leon really loves Justin Bieber and, as one of his peers, I just wanted to help him out in achieving his dream. I like some of his music, even though I’m not his biggest fan, and I think it would be a really different experience for everyone.”
Committee advisor and GHS French teacher Anne-Sophie Kruse advised the students to reach out to people beyond the school.
“The more you can talk to adults and explain how to create Twitter accounts, the more we can spread the news,” said Kruse.
Kruse said the students plan to wear their shirts throughout the community to draw more attention to Trending Day.
“Kids in all the grades and teachers have been really supportive,” said Kruse. “I think it’s interesting in this school to see how many people have shown that support. I don’t know if you’d find that in every school district.”
Leon’s sister, Ashley, 18, said she’d support her brother in any endeavor.
“I know he’s gotten a lot of ridicule for this in the past, but I believe he can do anything he puts his mind to,” said Ashley.
“I feel good about it, and I support him 100 percent,” added Leon’s mom, Denise Purvis. “Things do happen, you never know.”
In addition to his YouTube video, which can be found by searching “Guy asks Justin Bieber to prom,” Leon also recently did an interview on Roadrunner Radio in San Antonio. He remains optimistic and is thrilled to have the support of his peers.
“We hope it gets some attention,” said Leon. “It’s not often you see a guy fan wanting to meet Justin Bieber.”
