Justin Bieber Celebrates Five Years Of Kidrauhl

Can you believe it's been five years since Justin Bieber posted his first video on YouTube? We can't -- and neither can Justin!

Justin started up the account simply to share videos of his Stratford Idol performance with his family, with his mum Patti initially posting videos up. It didn't take long before Justin was discovered by Scooter Braun, and then Usher, and then the entire world.

Justin tweeted,

"5 years ago today i started this youtube channel and you all changed my life. thank you. #AlwaysKidrauhl  - "

He has achieved so much in that time! Number one albums, number one singles, a world tour, 16 million Twitter followers, countless awards plus of course the love of millions of girls all over the world.

Check out Justin's very first video below -- his performance of 'So Sick' by Ne-Yo. Plus we've included some cute Bieber photos below. Enjoy.

Glassboro High School student invites Justin Bieber to prom

Back in June, Leon — a 16-year-old Glassboro High School junior —decided to ask his favorite singer, Justin Bieber, to accompany him to his junior prom as a “bro.” In his YouTube video, Leon says he’s one of Bieber’s biggest fans and thinks the young singer deserves the chance to attend a normal prom.
Leon Said

“The idea came to me when I was at pre-prom last year to see my sister off, and I was talking to a kid that was going,”
“At the time I was thinking about what girl I wanted to ask, and he said, ‘Who are you going to ask? Justin Bieber?’ I thought it was a good idea because I admire him and all he’s accomplished for being so young. I’ve been a fan ever since his YouTube days.”
In order for the video to garner more than the 73,000 views it already has — and potentially draw attention from Bieber and his management team — Leon and his classmates decided it would have to become a trending topic on Twitter. After he presented the idea to his teachers and peers, a committee was formed to promote the topic.
Basically, if enough people tweet or re-tweet #GuyAsksJustinBieberToPromOnYouTube on the Trending Day — Dec. 27 beginning at 12:10 a.m. — the tweet could become a trending topic and garner more media attention.
“My idea to get a response is to make it one of the 10 worldwide trending topics,” said Leon. “If it becomes a trending topic, everyone — even celebrities — will be able to see it.”
To accomplish this goal, Leon and a committee of his peers are wearing shirts, posting flyers and signing banners to promote Trending Day.
He Said:
“Everyone knows who Justin Bieber is, and this is definitely a different situation because he doesn’t have as many guy fans as girls,”. “I believe he deserves to be around normal kids, And, a lot of people say nothing ever happens here at Glassboro, so this would bring some excitement and something to look forward to. I’ve worked really hard, the committee is working really hard and I think we’ll be successful.”
Ian Aubry, 16, designed the banners, flyers and “Never Say Never” T-shirts for the committee.
“Leon’s my friend, and I thought it was a good idea too,” said Ian. “I think people are supporting him about this even if they’re not huge Justin Bieber fans themselves. For the shirts, they had to be a simple text design and a low price, so I just created them in Photoshop and then sent them to the screen-printing place.”
Ian said he’s pretty confident the message will at least get to Bieber because Leon already has so many Twitter followers and YouTube viewers.
Another committee member — Danae Pinkney, 16 — shares that confidence.
“We’ve had a lot of different ideas,” said Danae. “Leon really loves Justin Bieber and, as one of his peers, I just wanted to help him out in achieving his dream. I like some of his music, even though I’m not his biggest fan, and I think it would be a really different experience for everyone.”
Committee advisor and GHS French teacher Anne-Sophie Kruse advised the students to reach out to people beyond the school.
“The more you can talk to adults and explain how to create Twitter accounts, the more we can spread the news,” said Kruse.
Kruse said the students plan to wear their shirts throughout the community to draw more attention to Trending Day.
“Kids in all the grades and teachers have been really supportive,” said Kruse. “I think it’s interesting in this school to see how many people have shown that support. I don’t know if you’d find that in every school district.”
Leon’s sister, Ashley, 18, said she’d support her brother in any endeavor.
“I know he’s gotten a lot of ridicule for this in the past, but I believe he can do anything he puts his mind to,” said Ashley.
“I feel good about it, and I support him 100 percent,” added Leon’s mom, Denise Purvis. “Things do happen, you never know.”
In addition to his YouTube video, which can be found by searching “Guy asks Justin Bieber to prom,” Leon also recently did an interview on Roadrunner Radio in San Antonio. He remains optimistic and is thrilled to have the support of his peers.
“We hope it gets some attention,” said Leon. “It’s not often you see a guy fan wanting to meet Justin Bieber.”

Justin Bieber Hits 2 Billion - yes, 2 BILLION! - YouTube Views

Justin Bieber is not even a legal adult yet, but he has managed to dominate the world of the popular social media site of YouTube. The young singer’s music videos are very popular on the site and continue to rake in thousands of hits everyday. He has just surpassed the 2 billion mark with the number of views to his various videos. The 17-year-old star got his start on YouTube and has managed to rake in the hits. His closest competitor is the ultra-famous, Lady Gaga who is about 200,000 views shy of Justin’s latest record.
The Biebs has his very own channel on the social site, like most celebrities. More than one million people subscribe to his channel for regular updates. Justin is the first person in the world to reach such a staggering figure. Lady Gaga may have beaten him to the 1 billion mark, but Justin has quickly shown the world he is not going to fade away as he matures. He is only getting stronger.

His social-networking  presence is a force to be reckoned with. He has close to 14 million followers on Twitter, which is a large number, but not nearly as large as his social-networking  nemesis, Lady Gaga who has more than 15 million. Justin’s Facebook page has another 37 million fans. Again, a massive following, but he is still eclipsed by several other music stars.
Justin owes his new YouTube record to the recent release of his “Mistletoe” video, which has already amassed 27 million views since its debut over a week ago. Justin owes his success to YouTube. He was “discovered” after his mother uploaded the then 12-year-old Justin singing various songs. His first song, “Baby” still holds the record for the most number of views with 650 million. In the last month alone, Justin’s channel has had more than 94 million views! Beliebers cannot get enough of the Canadian cutie.
Justin’s highly anticipated Christmas album drops tomorrow, November 1st. His YouTube numbers will certainly skyrocket as fans clamor to see their favorite baby faced singer getting into the holiday spirit.
Bieber Hit Baby Leads in Youtube Views
The song with the most Youtube views is Bieber's hit Baby, featuring Ludacris; that song now has more than 650,000,000 views on its own. Lady Gaga's biggest performer is Bad Romance with 425,000,000 views. Other high performing Bieber songs include his One Time and Never Say Never, the version featuring Jaden Smith is the biggest performer. His recently released song 'Mistletoe' got nearly 20,000,000 views in its first week online.
Rihanna is 3rd in Youtube views (1.7 billion), Eminem 4th (1.5) and Shakira 5th (1,2 billion).

Exciting Times for Justin Bieber

In all comes about in the midst of lots of stuff happening for the singer, he's got his Christmas album, 'Under the Mistletoe' out November 1, in a few days he's off to a ceremony in London, England, where he'll switch on Christmas lights and play a few songs and he's working on a studio album called 'Believe,' a follow-up to first full-length studio offering, 'My World 2,0.'
It's not likely he's gonna miss the occasion of 2 billion YouTube views but did not immediately write on his twitter page on it. He's the leader in YouTube views with Lady Gaga, who has 1,883,101,471 views, in second place. Gaga beat Bieber to 1 billion views by a couple of weeks at this time last year but has since fallen behind. So in a year Bieber managed another billion views.

Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga were victims of a hacker on YouTube

Lady Gaga | Justin Bieber
The pop idol Justin Bieber and extravagant diva Lady Gaga became the latest victims of a hacker who, through a false account, tried to harm the copyright policy on YouTube.

The network operates video's strict policy that if a material is accused of breaching copyright, the site will remove the content immediately until the dispute is resolved.

A mysterious YouTube account under the name of iLCreation claimed ownership of the video material of Justin Bieber. As a result, YouTube removed the video complete collection until the problem was resolved.

A representative of VEVO said to 'TMZ': 'Someone is making false claims against Justin Bieber channels and Lady Gaga. YouTube has blocked access to the videos. We are
working to resolve it. "

To the delight of the 'Beliebers' the problem was solved quickly and soon videos of Justin Bieber - like those of Lady Gaga - were restored.

There is a scheduled attack on Justin's BABY music video on YouTube tomorrow, Sept 1. The haters have planned to push the number of dislikes on the video above the number of likes and also leave nasty comments. Youtube is the future, MySpace is the past

The managers of Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber say they now focus their energies on YouTube and believe MySpace is finished as a vehicle to promote music. Lady Gaga manager Troy Carter says he will now specifically "create music videos for YouTube". Carter's statement breaks from tradition because music videos have historically targeted MTV and foreign markets.
